Two outfits per day (dress/skirt for assemblies, casual for activities, etc.) Business and professional attire especially if planning to run for office Nice sundresses, skirts, and tops – sweatshirt or jacket for air conditioned dorms, meeting rooms, and Jarman Auditorium
Shorts and casual clothes
Black informal clothing for the MIA Ceremony
Comfortable shoes for walking and sports activities
Shower shoes/flip flops/towels
Money – for the store, for vending machines, for city pictures, city taxes and for buying supplies for city decorating
Art supplies for decorating, including tape, scissors and poster board
Snacks and drinks (especially bottled water)
CD player
Alarm clock
Twin Size Linens and pillow
OTC (Over the Counter) medications (Tylenol, Claritin, Sudafed, cough drops)
Bandaids for blisters
Cell phone/phone card for long distance calls
Laundry detergent/dryer sheets (washing machines are available)
Blanket or throw – the dorms GET COLD!

Get plenty of sleep before you come. There is no down time and no time for naps. The day begins early, ends late, and the schedule is non-stop.
